Please Be Our Valentine!
On February 14th, the High Plains Museum would like you to be our Valentine!
The High Plains Museum is hosting a Valentine’s Date Night for Parents! Drop your kids off at the High Plains Museum from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on February 14th and go enjoy a date with your sweetheart. The kids will be treated to some Valentine themed fun with crafts, games, and a story.

Who are the adults in charge of this..By the way thats wonderful that you are willing to watch children so that the parents can have a date night!

Good Afternoon Amber! The High Plains Museum staff will be supervising the children. We will have five adults present to guide the kids through the various activities–crafts, games, and we’ll close with story time–we have set up for them. We thought it would be a nice outing for both parents and kids!

Thanks for this offer for our community. I also have a few questions: a) what are the ages you are seeking for this program (what is too old or too young)? and b) is there a signup process – thus, what if you have too many children show up? Thanks again!

Good Morning Dustin! The ages we are seeking for this program are 3 to 12. We do not have a signup for this program, but we have prepared for 100 children and have arranged adults who are experienced in child care to supervise and lead them through each activity.
