Get out Goodland! May First Week is Here!

Help the Carnegie Arts Center, the Goodland Public Library, and the High Plains Museum celebrate Goodland this May during the “First Week” events. This series of events will center around a theme of “Flight”. Drop by the Carnegie, Library or the Museum to experience “Flight” and its connection to Goodland.

Schedule of Programs:

  • May 3,Thursday, Noon – 1pm: Brown Bag Lunch at the High Plains Museum. Bring your lunch to the museum and enjoy a short program about aviation.
  • May 3, Thursday, 6pm: Culinary Arts Lesson at the Carnegie Arts Center. $30 for laughs and tasty shrimp scampi and beef bourguignon lessons.
  • May 5, Saturday, 1-5pm: Family Explore at the Carnegie Arts Center, High Plains Museum and Goodland Public Library. Enjoy family oriented activities and crafts.
  • May 5, Saturday, 6:30-7:30pm: Bedtime at the High Plains Museum. Enjoy a short story and the first ten children get to participate in a craft.
