The Smithsonian is Coming!

Sami Windle Exhibits

The High Plains Museum will host the Smithsonian Institution’s traveling exhibition, “The Way We Worked,” sponsored by the Kansas Humanities Council, December 15th, 2012 through January 27th, 2013.

“The Way We Worked” explores the stories of America’s workers and invites us to consider how the workplace and workforce have changed over time. Through photographs from the National Archives, audio and video clips, and hands-on components, Kansans will discover how, together, our work makes America.

"The Way We Worked" Kansas tour is sponsored by the Kansas Humanities Council in partnership with the Smithsonian Institution's Museum on Main Street program.
